Hearts Healed by Horses

 

 

Purpose: To provide support, guidance, and healing in a nurturing environment. Individuals are able to grieve loss openly in a safe and non-threatening way through the love of horses. Individuals grow equestrian skills, on and off horse back.

Mission: Hearts Healed by Horses is a program committed to providing a safe place where children ages 5-18 that are struggling with grief, can come be surrounded by the grace and love that the horses and volunteers have to offer.

Core Values/Purpose

- Provide support and learning sessions on and off horseback to allow individuals to connect and open up through horses.

- To preserve and sustain volunteers and financial support to continue to support the horses and program.

- To provide free sessions for the participants of the program.

- To be financially able to expand and reach more individuals that need support through donations and fundraising.

- To offer emotional and clinical support for children and parents/guardians.
